Here's why they matter so much. When the board fills up, you can't always extend words from their ends. High-Scoring 2-Letter Words to Know

How to Actually Learn Them
Don't sit down and try to memorise all 107 in one go. That doesn't work. Do this instead:
- Start with the ones you don't know - Print the list, cross off every word you already recognise. You'll be surprised how many you already know.
