What we do
Word Games Hub is a collection of free online tools designed to help word game players find valid words, improve their strategy, and learn new vocabulary. Whether you play Scrabble competitively, solve Wordle every morning, or work through crossword puzzles on your commute, our tools are built to give you an edge.
Every tool on this site is free to use, works on any device, and requires no account or download. We believe word game tools should be fast, clean, and accessible to everyone.
Our dictionary
Our word database contains over 249,000 valid English words sourced from multiple authoritative word lists including:
- TWL (Tournament Word List) - The official word list used in North American Scrabble tournaments, maintained by Hasbro.
- Collins Scrabble Words (SOWPODS) - The international Scrabble dictionary used in the UK, Australia, and most countries outside North America.
- ENABLE - A comprehensive public-domain word list that forms the basis of Words With Friends and many other word games.
We combine these sources to give you the broadest possible coverage. Every word shown in our results is valid in at least one major word game dictionary.
Our tools
We currently offer the following free tools:
- Word Unscrambler - Enter any letters to find every valid word you can make from them. Supports wildcards and advanced filters.
- Scrabble Word Finder - Find the highest-scoring Scrabble words from your rack tiles with official TWL/SOWPODS point values.
- Wordle Solver - Enter your green, yellow and grey clues to narrow down every possible Wordle answer.
- Anagram Solver - Find every word that can be made by rearranging a set of letters.
- Words With Friends Helper - Find valid WWF words with WWF-specific point values.
- Crossword Solver - Enter known letters and use ? for unknowns to find matching words.
- Jumble Solver - Solve newspaper jumble puzzles by finding all valid arrangements of scrambled letters.
How it works
When you enter letters into any of our tools, the search happens entirely in your browser. We load our full 249,000-word dictionary once, then every search runs locally on your device. This means:
- Results appear instantly - no waiting for server responses
- The tools work offline after your first visit
- Your searches are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere
- Performance is consistent regardless of internet speed
Our mission
We started Word Games Hub because we were frustrated with existing word tools. Most were slow, cluttered with ads, difficult to use on mobile, or required accounts just to search. We wanted something better - a tool that respects your time and gives you exactly what you need.
Our goal is to be the fastest, cleanest, and most useful word game resource on the web. We focus on three things:
